Drones, GoPros, Zoom or HD Meeting apps, and smart phones allow us to conduct site assessments where site access restrictions would otherwise prevent it. For instance, in response to social distancing restrictions, EBI assessors have been able to use these technologies to collaborate with site contacts, directing livestreamed site visits.

For years, EBI has also used drones to conduct virtual site assessments of properties that are physically inaccessible or unsafe to enter. In addition to increasing accessibility and safety, drones are an accurate and efficient tool for capturing data, mapping, and planning. In less than 5 hours, drones can survey over 100 acres of land. The time saved on surveying and data processing is passed to our clients in cost savings.
