The NJDEP Issues Updated Soil Standards for New Jersey

10/10/2017

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) has issued a public Notice of Administrative Change in the New Jersey Register in accordance with N.J.A.C. 7:26D-6.2.

The N.J.A.C. 7:26D are the current Remediation Standards for the state of New Jersey. The recent public notice change, effective September 18, 2017, has updated the soil remediation standards for exactly 19 contaminants. These updated standards were implemented following revisions of the toxicity data for these contaminants.

EBI Consulting’s Site Investigation and Remediation staff consists of scientists and engineers who are highly trained and experienced with the assessment, testing, analysis, and remediation of contaminated soil. If you have questions about the NJDEP’s updated soil standards, please contact us at [email protected] and we will connect you with our NJDEP LSRP, Rich George!
