EBI worked with a sports arena providing health and safety consultation on their COVID-19 program. EBI supported their leadership by providing industrial hygiene (IH) and engineering services to support the reopening of the arena after the temporary COVID-19 closure in 2020.

EBI provided engineering documents and system reviews, as well as IH consultation with document reviews, industry benchmarking, and on-site condition assessments to evaluate whether the continuing response efforts addressed ongoing health and safety improvements as defined by the plan.


This integration aligned programmatic requirements from several of the client’s operational stakeholders—associations, leagues, concert, city and state health and safety-related guidelines—with the goal of producing a best-in-class venue reopening plan.


EBI’s professional team of scientists and engineers partnered with the client’s team of in-house and consulting professionals to establish a comprehensive plan, policies and procedures designed to include prevention and response planning, design and implementation at the subject property. EBI’s team worked closely with the client’s team to conduct weekly meetings and performance audits of the facility to result in cleanliness and compliance and to prepare standardized report findings. We also assisted with maintaining awareness and incorporating updates to the manual and trainings based on evolving COVID-19 regulations.
