BURLINGTON, MA (August 11, 2021) – EBI Consulting is pleased to announce the expansion of General Counsel Maura McCaffery’s role to Vice President and General Counsel!
Maura joined EBI in 2015 and has provided legal counsel to EBI since 2016, first as Senior Counsel, followed by her promotion to General Counsel in 2018. She oversees all aspects of EBI’s legal functions, including enterprise risk management and compliance, litigation and dispute resolution, contract negotiation and management, master servicing agreements, employment matters, and merger and acquisition assistance.
Additionally, Maura is a member of EBI’s Leadership Team and serves an integral role building the company’s in-house legal department and risk management team. Her accomplishments beyond legal services include being a champion of EBI's digital transformation, bolstering connections to clients with a record number of new master servicing agreements, improving training and compliance company-wide, and more.

Prior to joining EBI, Maura worked as an environmental and land use attorney at three major law firms. She has extensive experience in a variety of federal and state environmental compliance, permitting, real estate, and due diligence matters, as well as renewable energy.
Maura received her Bachelor of Arts in neuropsychology from the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from the Boston University School of Law. She serves on the Board of Directors of the New England Corporate Counsel Association and is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC).
