Massachusetts Air Pollution Control Amendments

04/06/2017 - Blog

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection has proposed amendments to the 310 CMR 7.00 Air Pollution Control Regulations.

In March 2017, amendments were made to the Air Pollution Control Regulations in Massachusetts and the MassDEP has recently proposed additional amendments to this law. The 310 CMR 7.00 Air Pollution Control Regulations state a number of different emission limitations, permit requirements, and pollution control standards for a number of activities and facilities. These regulations allow the MassDEP to control and prevent further air pollution in order to ensure clean air for all of Massachusetts.
