Challenges

The city’s goal for their facilities was to create a more sustainable, resilient and functional public amenity for the community at large.

Solutions

EBI’s energy professionals reviewed the construction documentation and the project manual, providing the client with comments on the design plan. The team prepared a commissioning plan that was utilized during the construction phase. Additionally, our staff of professionals performed functional tests and inspections of the building systems and conducted site reports of all visits.

Outcomes

Following the results of our functional test, contractors worked directly with EBI to develop and implement solutions to issues found through testing and outline a recommended plan to be utilized during the construction phase. EBI will participate in the upcoming post-occupancy review of the completed project and will support all services to reach Net Zero Standards.
