EBI Consulting is proud to announce that Dan Spinogatti, Senior Vice President of Real Estate, is the 2018 recipient of the esteemed PRISM Industry Influencer Award.
Each year, EDR hosts the PRISM Awards to recognize excellence in the property due diligence and commercial lending industries. The Industry Influencer Award is one of nine award categories including Technology Innovation, Community Service, and others. It “recognizes an outstanding individual who promotes the industry and improves visibility of risk management through education and public relations. This individual shines outside of their environmental firm or financial institution with a demonstrated commitment to championing the industry as a whole and the understanding of property risk management in the field.” -EDR
Dan Spinogatti has been a key contributor to the due diligence industry for 17 years, through his service at EBI Consulting. Dan joined EBI in ‘99 as a NJ-based consultant & in ‘02 relocated to Phoenix to open EBI’s first western US office. EBI’s presence in this market has grown to 150 employees.
Dan’s education is part of what makes him so successful. With a B.S. in Environmental Studies and M.S. in Hydrology/Hydrogeology, he understands technical matters & combines that with business experience to provide clients with a holistic understanding of their properties. He is an expert in environmental & engineering topics across all property types, as well as detailed multifamily agency scopes of work. His technical expertise includes site assessments & investigation, remediation of soil and groundwater, and water treatment. During his lengthy career in due diligence, Dan has been asked to speak on technical topics at numerous conferences, including RealShare, Bisnow, CCIM, and MBA CREF.
Dan’s voice in the industry goes beyond conference presence. He is frequently invited in to present to lenders, brokers, investment banks and other Real Estate firms at their offices. Dan brings decades of knowledge to these Fortune 500 companies, helping them better understand the regulatory landscape, ASTM standards, and environmental due diligence.
As a resident of Phoenix, Dan is passionate about community involvement. He is a part of Water for Our World and has distributed clean water with the Phoenix Salvation Army. Dan has also participated in Phoenix 20-30, a group aimed at improving the lives of local children, supports fundraisers for Brokers for Kids, and coaches local youth football.
From industry events to local charities, Dan’s energy and generosity don’t go unnoticed. He motivates others to do their best and contribute positively to the world around them. As EBI’s President, Nolan Previte says “Dan emulates everything we want to be known for.
