Brokers for Kids
EBI AZ employees Dan Spinogatti, Kati Steiner, Susan Phillips, along with several EBI clients who joined the EBI team including Northmarq Capital (John Kinser and Luke Donahue) and NY Community Bank (Sean Westfall and Steve Warrick), participated in the Brokers for Kids event in April, 2015.
Each participating team raised money, and 50% of the total dollars was donated to Boys Hope Girls Hope of Arizona, 30% donated to the Scottsdale Active 20-30 Foundation, and 20% donated to the winning team's charity of choice. EBI's team competed in four events: Bocce Ball, Giant Jenga, Baggo, and Football Toss, getting a win in each team event. Unfortunately they didn't score high enough to progress to the final round's dodge ball playoff, but they did raise over $3,800 for the charities!

March of Dimes
Alissa Jordon and her family participated in the March for Babies walk in March, 2015 for their 6th year in a row! This March of Dimes event raises funds for babies who are born prematurely. Alissa walked with the team from the York Hospital Newborn ICU, and in 2014 she was ranked as one of the top participants to raise the most money in the York branch of the walk. This year, Alissa's group raised $3,500 dollars!
Plunge-4-Pete
Dan Balbo and Rob Maguire both participated in the Plunge-4-Pete in December, 2014. In an effort to increase awareness and help raise funds to support ALS, Dan and Rob jumped into the ice-cold water at Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester, MA. EBI employees donated $760 to Dan's fund which raised a total of approximately $15k, and $495 to Rob's fund which raised a total of approximately $12k. Great job, guys!
