Phil Winterland

Energy and Sustainability Group Manager

Philip joined EBI Consulting in 2015 and has over 15 years of experience in energy consulting including benchmarking, audits, and modeling, in addition to MEP assessments and commissioning. His responsibilities have included project management, staff management, system and equipment testing, design review, data analysis, and energy calculations. During his time at EBI Consulting, Philip has worked with a variety of property types, including commercial retail, private and public schools, institutional, government, hospital, and laboratory. As Energy and Sustainability Group Manager, Philip manages day-to-day delivery of projects and staff assignments.

Philip earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. He is a registered professional mechanical engineer in the state of Colorado, an NCEES record holder for engineering licensure, and works with clients on achieving their path to Net Zero.
